Nice flying, I have a Esky llama v4, its great for indoor flying, you can fly it outdoors too but the wind can be an issue. Unfortunately i dont have a big space to fly it but im doing okay.

Nice video :) Flying tandem looks like a lot of fun.

I just got a Blade 400 for christ, waiting to run it to the LHS to have my setup looked over and get it test flown. Seeing the stability of it in your vids has made me a lot less worried about flying it.

I’ve just been logging a bunch of time on Realflight with a Blade400 model over the last few months. Got my first piroflips today, I can imagine it’s gonna be a long time before I work up the nerve to try that with the real thing lol

where did you get the pontoons from:)??? nice flight :)

just got my blade 400 the other day and its awesome :)

had 3 awesome flights then i had a blade strike which broke the blades and feathering spindel shaft and striped 2 servos, awaiting parts now :)

goint to get a training gear before i take her up again though, but not as hard of a heli to fly as it thought it might be, its actualy easy to do basic flight with mild flight manouvers like figure 8′s etc , would recomend this for anyone with fixed pitch experience helis

@zielonekrzeslo they were armbands cut up. Nightflyer had a video on how to make them

Cracking video, guess I might unbox mine one of these days!

  13. zielonekrzeslo says:

where can I find the movie( how to make a pontoons?) please:) I am new user of blaede400, msr, and mcx… I like Your movies. wether in UK is very windy, so I nac;t fly now. But I have ‘phonix’ simulator. Lot of fun. Nice to watch you flying. Thank you…..

  14. madnesscombat5 says:

    just send it to me.

  15. Rcracer867 says:

@puggster Do you think it would be good for me? I’ve mastered the MCX and I’m pretty good at the MSR and I want this one because I could fly it around my neighborhood and start doing 3D tricks, and it comes with a DX6i. Thanks.

  16. puggster says:

keep practicing with the msr and you should do ok with the b400,

remember though if you crash this heli you will break some head section parts because it has a very high rotor speed but the b400 is a great heli to fly,
this is my first collective pitch heli of this class of model and check out my vids, thats roughly only 20 flights and i already doing forward flight, i would recomend changing the stock servos though as i had issues with them but the rest is top notch stuff :)

  17. puggster says:

also make sure you can afford to repair it if you crash, we all crash, even the pro’s, so even though parts are cheap, you often have to replace several parts per crash, good thing though as normaly parts come with 2 or more of the part requierd so next time you crash you wont need to buy the part again till the next time you break it :) , good luck

@puggster – Pretty much agree with all you said. The B400 is a great heli to learn on. I have been using a sim for a few months and have had about 30 battery packs through the B400. I am just starting to do decent forward flight. I agree the stock servos are not great but they are not as bad as everyone thinks. I do recommend (and I am going to do this) change to a decent tail rotor servo. Value for money, the B400 leaves just about and other heli for dead. Keep on flying!!!!!!
